Practice Focus

Aimee is an experienced trial and appellate lawyer who focuses her practice on school district defense, the defense of medical and dental malpracticeproducts liability, and general insurance defense. She has successfully tried dozens of cases throughout Western New York State and in Federal Court on behalf of school districts, hospitals, corporations and individuals.

Aimee also represents public sector employers in labor and employment law matters including numerous school districts in all aspects of their operations.  This includes advice and representation of employers with respect to personnel matters, personnel policies and practices, employment discrimination claims, union and labor relations, collective bargaining negotiations, arbitrations, capital construction, due process impartial hearings and employee benefits.

Aimee represents employers in matters before the New York State Public Employment Relations Board, the National Labor Relations Board, the State and U.S. Departments of Labor, the State Division of Human Rights and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Aimee joined Osborn, Reed & Burke, LLP in 2000, after practicing in the Southern Tier in a general practice firm that included matrimonial and family law, corporate representation, real estate, estates and wills, personal injury and civil litigation. She was elected as a Partner in 2004.

Aimee is a member of the New York State and Monroe County Bar Associations, the New York State Public Employer Labor Relations Association, the National School Board Association and the New York State Association of School Attorneys.  Aimee is an active member of the Monroe County Bar Association’s School Attorneys Committee, and is a frequent presenter at CLE seminars on issue of School Law.
